输出耦合镜的反射率通常在 40% 和 70% 之间。为优化激光光束的功率和空间轮廓,输出耦合镜和尾镜都具光学表面,该光学表面都有严格定义的曲面半径。输出耦合镜通常由硒化鋅制成,以在传送高功率激光光束时尽量减少吸收和热变形。尾镜的反射率通常为 99.5%,这意味着传送的激光光束功率较低。但是,由于涂层的吸收率要高于输出耦合镜,在大多数激光器中都使用具有高的热传导性的基片材料,如锗或砷化镓。
